About me:

I have had experience working across the lifespan, with particular interest and focus on working with children, adolescents and young adults presenting with multiple and complex mental health needs in both not-for-profit community-based and private practice settings. I have worked with a diverse range of people in one-on-one and group settings in person and via Telehealth, including culturally, linguistically, and religiously diverse populations; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations; individuals from LGBTQIAP+ communities; at-risk populations; socioeconomically disadvantaged groups; and rural populations.

These experiences have deepened my empathy and commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate the intricate and complex journey of trauma, recognising the diverse ways in which trauma can manifest. I acknowledge the deeply personal and unique ways in which their circumstances and vulnerabilities influence their path to healing. I place importance in the therapeutic relationship from the initial session and believe
in building trust and a secure foundation with my clients during therapy. I look forward to building the synergy with my clients during sessions on our journey together.

I am passionate about working with adolescents and young adults navigate their mental health and life stressors. I work with my clients to celebrate the small, though significant wins in their lives. I enjoy taking the time to get to know my clients and to connect with them through their interests and experiences and can
understand the benefit this can have for my work with my clients.

My holistic approach to mental health ensures that clients receive comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs, empowering them to overcome challenges and thrive in their lives. I am dedicated to fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship with each client, helping them navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful growth and healing along their journey.

My three favourite things:

  1. I love learning about and enhancing my knowledge of the expanding universe.
  2. Travelling, exploring, and immersing myself in the different cultures, customs,
    traditions, languages, beliefs, and cuisines.
  3. Spending time with loved ones.
