About me:

I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and various difficulties. In 2013 I obtained my first postgraduate psychology qualification in Germany. I subsequently completed a Master in Clinical Psychology at ACU Melbourne in 2019. In both countries, I have gained experience in various private and public mental health settings. I have been working with individuals with a broad spectrum of symptom diversity and severity, in both individual therapy and groups of various formats.

How I will help you:

“Honouring your journey, supporting your growth” is my maxim. I am strongly committed to holding space for you with presence and empathy, in which together we explore what matters to you and how therapy can assist you in your current life circumstances.

I look at therapy as a discovery process, that is supported yet dynamic, where relevant feelings, thoughts, stories, patterns, and/ or past experiences have permission to show up, be looked at, and attended to at your own pace. Additionally to thoughts and feelings, awareness of the body, our somatic experience, can be an important piece of the puzzle and can be included in our work.

The sessions can involve working towards a deeper understanding of aspects of yourself and your relationships, identifying what supports your body and mind to experience more balance and connection, finding ways to come to terms with past experiences and old stories, resulting in being more in the here and now rather than in the past; or honing in on existing strengths as well as new skills, supporting you to feel more empowered and resilient, and better able to tackle life’s challenges moving forward.

My three favourite things:

  • Quality time with loved ones
  • Spending time in and connecting with nature
  • Preparing delicious, healthy, and nutrient dense meals
