About me

Hi, I’m Amber — a Clinical Psychologist with experience working across public health, mental health, and private practice. I’m particularly passionate about supporting adults through anxiety, stress, burnout, OCD, and difficulties with sleep and pain. I also enjoy working with people exploring self-development and navigating life transitions. In addition to my work here at Seed, I work in a community health setting, supporting adults from diverse backgrounds with complex medical and mental health concerns.

How I will help you

I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. My approach is practical and evidence-based, but always grounded in empathy and curiosity. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you, build a clearer understanding of your needs, and develop strategies that are tailored to your goals, values, and strengths. I’m particularly interested in helping people develop insight, regulate emotions, and live with more intention and self-compassion — even in the face of life’s challenges.

When I’m not working

I love spending time with my adopted dog, Lenny, and being out in nature — whether that’s camping or taking mindful walks. I’m also a foodie, big fan of travel, and love binge watching a TV show and fitting in a Pilates class whenever I can.

  • You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist at Seed Psychology. However, if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. With a MHCP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be used at any psychology clinic of your choice. To access Medicare psychology rebates, book an appointment with your GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. Most referrals begin with 6 sessions, with the option to access 4 more after a review. Referrals can also be provided by a psychiatrist or paediatrician.

  • Our client care team will support you through every step of getting started. They’ll take the time to understand your needs and preferences, then thoughtfully match you with a psychologist whose approach and availability align with what you’re looking for.

When matching you with a Psychologist, we consider:

    • The reason you’re seeking therapy
    • Your availability and preferred session times
    • Whether you’d like to attend in person or online
    • The therapeutic approaches most suited to your needs
    • Any other preferences you share with us
  • We understand that finding the right fit is important. Building a strong relationship with your psychologist can take time, but if at any point you feel the connection isn’t quite right, we’ll support you in transferring to someone new. Your well-being is always our priority.

  • Our experienced team of Psychologists offers warm, evidence-based support that’s collaborative, inclusive and grounded in genuine understanding. We provide individual, relationship or family therapy for a wide range of concerns. Additionally, we offer couples therapy, online therapy, psychological assessments (including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Assessments), and workshops.

  • If you have extras cover, private health insurance may provide rebates. Check your individual policy for coverage and claiming options.
