Rozalia Hecht
About me
Hi, I’m Rozalia — a registered Psychologist with endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology. I’m passionate about supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate life’s transitions and the challenges that can arise at different stages of development. I work with a range of neurodevelopmental, mental health, social, and emotional presentations in a neuro-affirming, and sexuality- and gender-affirming way. My approach is grounded in compassion and collaboration, with a focus on helping individuals build greater self-awareness, strengthen their sense of self-efficacy, and develop sustainable self-care practices.
How I will help you
In therapy, we’ll work together to explore the concerns that are most important to you — whether you’re experiencing emotional difficulties, mental or physical health challenges, relationship issues, perinatal or parenting concerns, or stress related to school, study, learning, or work.
You’ll be met with empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental space where your experiences are heard and respected. Throughout our work together, I will support you to validate your needs, nurture your wellbeing, and develop healthy boundaries that empower you to express yourself with confidence and care.
When I’m not working
Outside of work, I enjoy reading novels for fun and relaxation — nothing too highbrow, just a good story to unwind with. I love catching up over weekend brunch with friends and family, I try to keep up my Pilates practice, and I daydream about future holidays and foodie travel adventures. These everyday joys help me recharge and stay connected to what matters.

You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist at Seed Psychology. However, if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. With a MHCP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be used at any psychology clinic of your choice. To access Medicare psychology rebates, book an appointment with your GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. Most referrals begin with 6 sessions, with the option to access 4 more after a review. Referrals can also be provided by a psychiatrist or paediatrician.
