About me

Hi, I’m Miriam — a Psychologist with experience across a wide range of mental health settings, including acute mental health, private practice, forensic services, and occupational rehab. I work with young people, adults, parents, and groups, and support a broad range of concerns including OCD, phobias, anxiety, sleep difficulties, life transitions, identity, perinatal mental health, and more. I take a collaborative, holistic, and person-centred approach, drawing on a mix of evidence-based therapies like ACT, CBT, DBT, ERP, and mindfulness-based techniques. My goal is always to tailor therapy to you — your strengths, your challenges, and what you want from life.

How I will help you

In therapy, I aim to create a warm, compassionate space where you feel safe to explore. We’ll work together to build a shared understanding of your experiences and identify what’s getting in the way of living in line with your values.
Whether we’re managing anxiety, navigating identity or relationship changes, or working through stuck patterns, I’ll support you with practical strategies, insights, and encouragement to move forward in a way that feels meaningful and empowering.

When I’m not working

I enjoy DIY renovation projects, styling interiors, and exploring new places through food and travel.

  • You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist at Seed Psychology. However, if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. With a MHCP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be used at any psychology clinic of your choice. To access Medicare psychology rebates, book an appointment with your GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. Most referrals begin with 6 sessions, with the option to access 4 more after a review. Referrals can also be provided by a psychiatrist or paediatrician.

  • Our client care team will support you through every step of getting started. They’ll take the time to understand your needs and preferences, then thoughtfully match you with a psychologist whose approach and availability align with what you’re looking for.

When matching you with a Psychologist, we consider:

    • The reason you’re seeking therapy
    • Your availability and preferred session times
    • Whether you’d like to attend in person or online
    • The therapeutic approaches most suited to your needs
    • Any other preferences you share with us
  • We understand that finding the right fit is important. Building a strong relationship with your psychologist can take time, but if at any point you feel the connection isn’t quite right, we’ll support you in transferring to someone new. Your well-being is always our priority.

  • Our experienced team of Psychologists offers warm, evidence-based support that’s collaborative, inclusive and grounded in genuine understanding. We provide individual, relationship or family therapy for a wide range of concerns. Additionally, we offer couples therapy, online therapy, psychological assessments (including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Assessments), and workshops.

  • If you have extras cover, private health insurance may provide rebates. Check your individual policy for coverage and claiming options.
