Geeta Angela Sitaram
About me
Hi, I’m Geeta — one of the Directors here at Seed, a Clinical Psychologist, and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor with over two decades of experience. I’ve worked across hospitals, community services, and private practice. As a practice owner, I’m passionate about offering psychological services that are grounded in respect and compassion, and about helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. As a psychologist, I support clients with an extensive range of concerns, with particular interests in relationship issues, intergenerational experiences, personal development, and cross-cultural issues. I help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the patterns that shape their relationships —past and present. Through this process, we work toward meaningful change and reconnecting with what matters most to you.
How I will help you
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and supportive. I create a safe space for you to explore your experiences and take meaningful steps toward change. I work alongside you to develop strategies that feel grounded, empowering, and tailored to your unique needs.
When I’m not working
I enjoy spending time with friends and family and being in nature—whether that’s a walk in the bush or relaxing in the garden. I also love discovering new places, both locally and overseas, and saying yes to new and unexpected experiences.

You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist at Seed Psychology. However, if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. With a MHCP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be used at any psychology clinic of your choice. To access Medicare psychology rebates, book an appointment with your GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. Most referrals begin with 6 sessions, with the option to access 4 more after a review. Referrals can also be provided by a psychiatrist or paediatrician.
