About me

Hi, I’m Charlotte – a trauma-informed psychologist with experience in hospital, community and educational settings. My focus is on working with you in an adaptable, curious, and empathy-driven way.

I’ve worked with a diverse range of people, and find it especially rewarding working with those exploring their identity and sense of self, healing from complex trauma. Adjusting to major life changes, or navigating life after a late autism or ADHD diagnosis. I’ve also had the privilege of supporting people from people from the LGBTIQ+ and culturally diverse communities, and I strive to create a safe, affirming and inclusive space for everyone I work with.

How I will help you

I aim to bring curiosity, flexibility, warmth and empathy to my approach – exploring with you what feels most helpful – whether that’s practical strategies for right now, or taking time to explore deeper patterns that keep showing up.

I draw on ACT, CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. In practice, this might look like building skills to manage overwhelming emotions and thoughts, learning how to set boundaries and improve relationships, or exploring how past experiences shape your present. My style is warm, curious, and adaptable, with space for humour as well as depth (we’re human, after all!).

When I’m not working

I love spending time with my cheeky cats, learning new things, playing video games, exploring creative projects, and, when I can, escaping the city to spend some time in nature.

  • You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist at Seed Psychology. However, if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. With a MHCP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be used at any psychology clinic of your choice. To access Medicare psychology rebates, book an appointment with your GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. Most referrals begin with 6 sessions, with the option to access 4 more after a review. Referrals can also be provided by a psychiatrist or paediatrician.
