About me

Hi, i’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience. I’m also a Board Approved Supervisor. I’ve supported adults, adolescents and couples across a variety of clinical settings, including public health and private practice. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, gender dysphoria, chronic pain, and adult ADHD. I’m particularly passionate about supporting people navigating identity, relationships, and emotion regulation. I of course welcome neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients.

How I will help you

I utilise ACT and CBT primarily, as well as the Conversational Model, mindfulness, and psychotherapy. This depends on what fits your goals. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based, inclusive, non-judgemental practice. This is arguably foundational to any psychological practice. The very nature of therapy suggests a goal of accepting what we cannot change, but also an expectation that we might seek personal growth where possible. I aim to help you learn to relate differently to your inner critic in favour of nurturing your inner coach. I aim to help you build confidence, reconnect with your inner strengths, and perhaps compassionately approaching the things we avoid in a new way. Working with artists is also something I enjoy, though one of the more rewarding aspects of therapy is working with and appreciating wonderful individuals from all walks of life.

When I’m not working

I love surfing and the ocean in general. I’m also musician. Perhaps this brings both groundedness and flexibility, if not creativity, to my therapeutic style.

  • You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist at Seed Psychology. However, if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. With a MHCP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be used at any psychology clinic of your choice. To access Medicare psychology rebates, book an appointment with your GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. Most referrals begin with 6 sessions, with the option to access 4 more after a review. Referrals can also be provided by a psychiatrist or paediatrician.

  • Our client care team will support you through every step of getting started. They’ll take the time to understand your needs and preferences, then thoughtfully match you with a psychologist whose approach and availability align with what you’re looking for.
