About me

I’m Anastasia – a warm and curious psychologist who really values genuine connection. I create a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported—especially if life’s been feeling a bit overwhelming or uncertain lately. I’m passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences and supporting them to live more in line with their values. Whether you’re navigating identity challenges, relationship struggles, or the emotional weight of chronic illness, I’m here to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and compassion.

How I will help you

My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies including Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic approaches, ACT, and existential therapy. That might sound like a lot—but really, it just means we’ll tailor our sessions to suit you. Together, we’ll unpack unhelpful patterns, explore your inner world, and create meaningful, lasting change. I work with individuals, couples, and families—often people who are thoughtful and sensitive, but finding it hard to prioritise their own needs. Therapy with me is about slowing down, building insight, and finding new ways to feel more connected—to yourself and to the people around you.

When I’m not working

You’ll probably find me exploring new cafés around Melbourne, hosting low-key movie nights with friends, or doing Pilates (with my puppy “supervising” on the mat).

  • You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist at Seed Psychology. However, if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. With a MHCP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can be used at any psychology clinic of your choice. To access Medicare psychology rebates, book an appointment with your GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. Most referrals begin with 6 sessions, with the option to access 4 more after a review. Referrals can also be provided by a psychiatrist or paediatrician.

  • Our client care team will support you through every step of getting started. They’ll take the time to understand your needs and preferences, then thoughtfully match you with a psychologist whose approach and availability align with what you’re looking for.

When matching you with a Psychologist, we consider:

    • The reason you’re seeking therapy
    • Your availability and preferred session times
    • Whether you’d like to attend in person or online
    • The therapeutic approaches most suited to your needs
    • Any other preferences you share with us
  • We understand that finding the right fit is important. Building a strong relationship with your psychologist can take time, but if at any point you feel the connection isn’t quite right, we’ll support you in transferring to someone new. Your well-being is always our priority.

  • Our experienced team of Psychologists offers warm, evidence-based support that’s collaborative, inclusive and grounded in genuine understanding. We provide individual, relationship or family therapy for a wide range of concerns. Additionally, we offer couples therapy, online therapy, psychological assessments (including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Assessments), and workshops.

  • If you have extras cover, private health insurance may provide rebates. Check your individual policy for coverage and claiming options.
