About me:

I am experienced in helping people overcome a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment issues, sleep issues, and chronic pain. I previously worked in private practice, GP clinic, child protection, and aged-care environments.

I am skilled in chronic pain treatment and have a particular interest in this area (due to my own experience in managing chronic pain). I am also skilled in treating sleep difficulties (including insomnia).

I can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hokkien at a conversational level and although I do not provide therapy in these languages, this provides me with a greater ability to connect with clients from South-East and East Asian cultures.

How I will help you:

I will work together with you to determine the best way forward to manage the difficulties at hand. I work collaboratively with you and use your feedback to determine the most effective therapeutic approach in session. My goal is for you to feel safe in the therapeutic environment and to become less self-critical and acknowledge that trying your best is enough.

My three favourite things:

  1. My two dogs
  2. Friends and family
  3. Craftwork including origami and crochet.
